Any Way to Generate Proxy Classes which do not Implement INotifyPropertyChanged and IExtensibleDataObject? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have absolutely no use for the INotifyPropertyChanged interface. Yet, any time I use IntelliSense to fill in an object initializer for a proxy type, I have to skip past the PropertyChanged event.

Even worse, any time a property is changed, the setter is calling RaisePropertyChanged, and there will never be anyone listening to the event!

Is there any way to prevent this interface from being added to the generated code? Do I have to either forgo the use of proxy types, or else generate my own proxy types?

I'd love to get rid of IExtensibleDataObject while we're at it!

WCF is Web Services. They are not two separate things.
Use WCF for All New Web Service Development, instead of legacy ASMX or obsolete WSE
Use File->New Project to create Web Service Projects
