UWP App Identification RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am looking for a way to identify if a HWND and/or PID belongs to a UWP app. The IsImmersiveProcess() function is no use for that because it incorrectly reports explorer.exe along with other win32 processes as immersive (aka UWP). I could check the HWND window class being "Windows.UI.Core.CoreWindow". But I am concerned this class name might not work for non-English version of Windows. Anyone knows if this class name is fixed ? Are there other ways of identifying a UWP app ?
