Visual Studio keeps giving me an error while creating a new project:
"Unable to read the project file "ConsoleApplication2.vcxproj".
c:\Users\Brandon\documents\visual studio 2012\Projects\ConsoleApplication2\ConsoleApplication2.vcxproj(18, 3): the imported project "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.cpp\v4.0\v110\Microsoft.cpp.default.props" was not found. Confirm that the
path in the <import> delcaration is correct, and the file exists on disk."
I have ran repair using disk, ran repair without disk, set setting back to default, uninstalled and re installed several times, cleared the %temp% folder and ran repairs and re installed.
It creates the folder and when I try to Open Project I get a different error:
"The operation could not be completed. The parameter is incorrect."
what did you repair? Please check that the file
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.cpp\v4.0\v110\Microsoft.cpp.default.props
is on your system. If it is not there, then your Visual Studio installation is corrupt.
I would expect that a repair of Visual Studio would fix it.
With kind regards,
