    you need to add a label1 to your form
    and a timer1 control to your form

    in timer :

    timer1.interval=500
    timer1.enable=true

    Me.Label1.Text = TimeOfDay

    Don't judge me, just Upgrade me. Thanks!

  • If the timer is not enabled then the event handler for the tick event never fires . It is pointless to put Timer1.Enabled in the tick event because that event handler never fires because the time is not enabled . Enable the timer in the properties of the timer or in the form load event .

    Digital or Analog ?

    For Digital, try
    Private Sub Timer4_Tick(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Timer4.Tick
            ' You can use any of these
            Me.Text = Now.ToShortTimeString
            'or
            Me.Text = TimeOfDay.ToShortTimeString

        End Sub
    For Analog
