Visual Studio 2005 set up RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I had to reinstall Visual Studio 2005 (BIDS), and now when I want to preview my reports I need to enter the date formated as (mm/dd/yyyy) instead of (dd/mm/yyyy), this is creating issues when I deploy the reports to SSRS and try to create subscriptions.

However if I set a determined date in my Parameters the same appears correct in the Preview Date prompts....

The reginal setting of my PC are as English (United Kingdom) and short date as dd/mmm/yyyy, as also English (United Kingdom) as a Language to match teh unicode in my Advance Tab.

Is there any settings in VS that I should change, please any help would be very much appreciated.

  • Hi Vdafonse,

    Thank you for your post.

I have created a new SSRS project on my machine. After some search, it looks like that IDE doesn't support that configuration.
Moreover, the data is retrieved from SQL Server database. It might be related to the data format in the database. Could you please double check that?

Since your issue is related to SSRS project, it is recommended that you could post your thread on SQL Server Reporting Services forum. You will get more useful help there.

Hope this helps! If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.
