What is difference between Security and Safety in programming?
Safety is rather protection against accidental events;
security is rather protection against intentional damages.
e.g. Implementing .NET Security in C# - CodeAccessSecurity:
// By default deny access to the C Drive..... CodeAccessPermission UserPermission = 5. new FileIOPermission(FileIOPermissionAccess.AllAccess,@"c:\");
Thread Safety is a example of safety.
