    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Please refer to this page http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2010/06/04/10020299.aspx

It is for .NET 4 but can be available on other version, you only need to change some commands,

    • So, Download the .NET Framework 4 client profile http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24872 and save it to your hard drive
    • Run the following command to extract the contents of the .NET Framework 4 client profile installer: dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.exe /x: c:\dotnetfx4
    • Run the following command to create an administrative install point for the .NET Framework 4 client profile core x86: msiexec /a c:\dotnetfx4\netfx_Core_x86.msi EXTUI=1 TARGETDIR=c:\dotnetfx4\AIP\netfx_core_x86

When extract the contents of installer, MSI file was included on that path.

    Thanks,

  • The easiest way to extract this is with Winrar by rarlabs.  You just right click and select extract on the context menu.
