Web Performance and Load Test Setup RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm a consultant, creating a project with web and load tests on my computer works fine, but when I do the same on my customer's workstation the Web Test Recorder toolbar in internet explorer is disabled ... it shows up, but the buttons are disabled. It reads:

To record this web performance test:

    1. Check that the Web Test Recorder Helper add-on is enabled in your browser.
    2. Close current browser session.
    3. Start recording your web performance test again.
I went to manage add-ons and both the Test Recorder and Helper add-ons are enabled, however the Record/Pause/Stop etc, all buttons on the toolbar are disabled.

    Running Visual Studio 2015 Update 1, Windows 7 SP1, Internet Explorer 11..
what could it be? a group policy? something missing? what else could I check or where should I go from here?
