  • Hi Ganesh Bodke,

Could you please tell me which project type do you want to open in Visual Studio 2015?

According to the error message, the VS2012 project type should not supported in VS2015. To verify this, you could try open your Visual Studio 2015 to create this type of project.

If you could create a new project for this type, you could open your VS2012 project with following steps.

    1. Create a new project in VS2015.
    2. Copy VS2012 project files to the VS2015 project with Add existing files.
    3. Build it in VS2015.

If you could not find this type project in VS2015, I'm afraid that it is not supported in VS2015 any more. I suggest you install Visual Studio 2012 to continue this type of project.

    Best Regards,
