SSMS import data from excel issue

Question
-
When trying to import data from the Excel spreadsheet it gives the following error :
The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.16.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. (System.Data)
went to link below to download what is advised - Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributablefrom : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54920
Attempt to install either version is failed with messages below.. the issue started right after I stopped using SSMS from SQL Server set up and switch to freely available download .. currently 18.6 installed. The workstation is corporate laptop and Office 365 is installed.. I tried SQL Server 2017 import and export data (32 bit) to the same effect. Any solution for this persistent problem...

I do remember a while back facing similar issue and the solution was indeed to use /quiet mode. I was unable to find the thread where I did ask that question and got the solution (several years ago), but hopefully the above link can get you going (answer from Yitzhak).
