Using SSL via proxy RRS feed

  • Question

Client is set to use TransportWithMessageCredential and BasicHttpMessageCredentialType.UserName which causes the UID and pasword to be sent in the SOAP header over SSL, But my IIS service sits behind a proxy and does not have SSL certificate as the SSL is handled by the proxy server.

If the service security mode = TransportWithMessageCredential then is complains that there is no https endpoint.  If it is set to none, then it can't understand the security header....

Is there any way round this?  How can I send credentials in the SOAP header without requiring certificate on IIS?

    Thanks for any help.
