VSTS: Deployment on this environment was cancelled RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are trying to setup a continuous build/release process using VSTS to do the build and then release to our local environment using the Agent method as described in this documentation and a few Channel 9 videos.

The agent is recognized but any attempt to release any builds or perform any tasks fails with a message of "Deployment on this environment was cancelled." with no further information given.

Any help as to what might be a cause for this recurring error would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Derek

  • Greetings,

    Sorry for delay in response.

Please provide more information it will help us to drilldown the issue.

send us an email to v-suhp at Microsoft dot com with agent logs, by following these steps:

    1. Clean “_diag” folder, in the agent path.

    2. Run queue a release and wait for its completion.

    3. Pick up all the contents of the “_diag” folder and send us as a zip.

Additionally, provide us with the releaseId and  vsts(vso) account’s id.
