  • For the beta release if you check the "Trial" license.

When we release the final version, the product will be available as part of the Ultimate level of MSDN or will also be able to be purchased separately.  Free upgrades will be available for qualifying existing Teamprise customers.

For more information see the following:

  • Thanks Shaw for the information.

so Microsoft is incorporating these tools into Visual Studio 2010 release. Developers will have a choice between jointly purchasing the Teamprise Client Suite along with Team Foundation Server 2010, or subscribe to MSDN as the portal will feature Teamprise Client Suite as part of the subscription. What about developers already owningMSDN subscriptions will they see the new solutions added when they become available.

  • Bhargava,

Now that Microsoft has release Team Explorer Everywhere, Teamprise Client Suite v3.3 is no longer available for purchase from Teamprise.

The newest version of this technology is Microsoft Visual Studio Team Explorer Everywhere 2010. This product has a retail price of $299 USD per user, and requires a Client Access License (CAL) for Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010, which retails for $499 USD per user.  Team Explorer Everywhere is also available as a benefit to customers with the Ultimate level MSDN subscription. Additionally, Microsoft’s Volume Licensing programs offer discounts – please visit for more information on these programs.

If you have an Ultimate level MSDN Subscription, then Team Explorer Everywhere should already be available for you to download from your MSDN Subscription Center.  If you do not have the ultimate level then you can either upgrade to Ultimate or purchase Team Explorer Everywhere by one of the other mechanisms (retail purchase or Volume License purchase).  Every version of MSDN with Visual Studio includes a team Foundation Server CAL therefore you would only need to purchase Team Explorer Everywhere.

    Hope that helps,
