Best way to learn C# on a budget

    Question

  • Hoi everyone,

I am a mature student learning C#.net for the first time and am looking for the most effective way to study C# on a budget.

I can self motivate and would welcome any tips where I can find a CBT course delivered at a low level

I followed this thread "The best way to learn C# from scatch" but I am looking for a way to follow a coherent training programme that has related examples.  ( I am nervous how much this will cost as I have a young family).

    V.g.

  • The cheapest way would propably be a book.

From your nickname I guess you are german or use it as primary language. As do I and I personally learned the basics from this one:

Let's talk about MVVM: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wpf/thread/b1a8bf14-4acd-4d77-9df8-bdb95b02dbe2 Please mark post as helpfull and answers respectively.

  • go to amazon and read the book reviews.

IDK if you already have extensive programming experience but a project that is small in scale and has a purpose you find interesting is good.

The benefit of one from a book it that is guided and has a defined scope.
