    Hi,

    can anyone explain me clearly the limitations of hosting Winform controls in a WPF application? any challenges while hosting winform controls in a WPF application. Please explain me clearly.

  • Well... not very experienced in that, but I think you cannot host WinForm controls in wpf if your application is gonna run in a partial trust environment, like many configurations for Internet Explorer.

  • I might say that there are no limitations.

    However, let us know what kind of application you are trying to build so we can pinpoint possible restrictions.

  • iam just trying to explore the interop of Winform controls in WPF standalone application.I got the answers for when to use winform controls in WPF,how to use them...but i am unable to findout the limitations.
