Auto create a work item from a state in another work item

Hi

We have just started to use TFS and I have been tasked with creating some custome work items templates.

What I now want to do it to get a work item created when another workitem hits a certain state.

E.G. when we hit a code review state a code rebiew work item is created.

Can this be done? If so any tips on how would be great

Hi,

Hopefully the VSTS team will consider adding custom actions such as spawning other work items to the WI workflow engine in future versions of TFS...But for now, I'm afraid your only option is to create a custom control for the System.State field which would react on certain states and spawn related work items.
