Visual Studio Express 2015 Offline Activation

Question
-
Is there any way to activate Visual Studio Express 2015 offline? It seems like the only way to activate it is to sign into your account from the "registration" option in the "help" menu. Unfortunately, the computer it is installed on is not allowed online access? Is there anyway to sign in to my MSDN account, get a key, and install use it to activate express?Friday, December 11, 2015 12:23 PM

Hi locustcox,
Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
If there is no Internet connection, you are not able to sign in VS. So please try to have network connection to your computer and then sign and renew license.

@locustcox,
Since Visual Studio 2012 express needs to be registered online. So if you want to use express version after VS2012, you have to connect online.
You can consider upgrade to use some paid version in offline environment. The paid version support to use key to register.
best regards,
Barry
