Coded UI playback not working when there is a switch from WPF to Winform RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I am new to coded UI and trying to create an automated test using record and playback (on Client application). Recording works fine but during playback the test fails. The application has wrapper of WPF and some panels still use Winforms. The test starts well but fails as it moves to another frame that is in Winform. Please suggest.

    Thanks

    Kes

How did you "switch from WPF to Winform"? What do you mean "move to another frame"?

Could you collect the detailed error message? So we could know which control generated this issue and the real reason. Actually not all WPF or Winform controls support the coded UI tests.
