webdrive (selenium) test project in vs2015 just won't work,why? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was trying to write a web testing project with selenium (references) in visual studio 2015 and the first few tutorials were relatively easy to understand, that's what I got:

    using System;
    using Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting;
    using OpenQA.Selenium;
    using OpenQA.Selenium.Chrome;
    using OpenQA.Selenium.Support;
    namespace testsite
    public class firsttest
        IWebDriver driver;
        String url = "";
        string DRIVER_PATH = @"C:\Projects\webdriver\dotnet\src\webdriver\chrome\chromedriver";
        public void setup()
            //Starting the browser and visiting the site
            driver = new ChromeDriver(DRIVER_PATH);
        public void Cleanup()
            //after the test
        public void testtingsite()
            //Here we write the actual test

    which should run the chrome browser, visits the url and then quits the browser, but all that happens is the following message in the output :

    ------ Run test started ------
    Cannot discover test extensions installed by NuGet. The NuGet service is not available. Tests may not be found due to missing test adapter extensions.
    NUnit VS Adapter executing tests is started
    Loading tests from C:\Users\kkkkkk\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Projects\testtumblr\testtumblr\bin\Debug\testtumblr.dll
    Run started: C:\Users\kkkkkk\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Projects\testtumblr\testtumblr\bin\Debug\testtumblr.dll
    NUnit VS Adapter executing tests is finished

    ========== Run test finished: 1 run (0:00:06.7263863) ==========

    so I don't know where exactly the problem is, any ideas on how to solve this ?.....please.
