WPF UserControl and WinForms UserControl RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have my application which is developed in VC++. I'm currently developing a sort of plug-in for this core vc++ based application.  The plug-in is using the WPF.
This VC++ based core application, which have a dialog box which provides a space to host a UserControl. The application expects to host a WinForm based UserControl.

Now the issue I have is, In my new plug-in code, I would like to host a WPF UserControl. This UserControl is different than the WinForm UserControl.

Is there any way where I can host this wpf UserControl, with out changing any thing in the core application?

One way which I know as of now is to use the ElementHost and then host on top of the WinForm UserControl.
Is there any other way to do this?

    Thanks a lot in advance.
