Visual C++ 2010 Express Registration key

Question

I would like to install the free version of Visual C++ 2010 Express in my high school computer lab of approximately 36 computers how do I go about getting a registration key for all the computers?

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

 

If the user of the Visual C++ 2010 Express on each computer is the same person, you can use one registration key to activate all the computers.

 

If Visual C++ 2010 Express are used by different users, each of them should get a key.

 

Since one key one person, you should ensure each user have his own key.

Hello.

I cant' find a registration key. I have downloaded C++Express and installed it. While runing it show me a window where is a cell to input a registration key and a button above "Obtain a registration key online". I click that button and go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/hh388567.aspx 

But where is that key??? I see lots of information that I didn't ask but don't see that I really need - a key (or link to it). And what I should do???

In the RESOURCES tag, click “Register Visual C++ 2010 Express”.

Now it redirects me to a random wierd page about Visual C++ 2012. Do you know where a product key is?

I am also having a problem obtaining a regitration key. i have downloaded and installed Visual C++ Express on my office computer. i have tried both links listed above and still have not found a link to a key. It appears that the pages have been redesigned.

There is no such tag as RESOURCES. All I see is "

• Produkte Funktionen Downloads News Support Dokumentation

". Although it is not english, none of these words would actually translate to Resources. (Products, functions, downloads, news, support, documentation would be appropriate.)

The dialog in VC++2010 sends me to the main Microsoft page ("Hello Windows 10!"), which is also not what I need.

I literally lost more than half an hour with this. It is very frustrating and not encouraging to use VC++ with such obstacles in my way.
