webbrowser in 2005 RRS feed

  • hello all,
    this is santhosh.s. 
    before in our projects, we were using AXwebBrowser control(vs2003) for the webbrowser.i am trying to create dynamic webbrowser objects. in vs2005  also i did the same .but when i build it ,it is saying that "Assembly generation failed -- Referenced assembly 'AxInterop.SHDocVw' does not have a strong name".do i need to take any other steps other than adding reference(in add reference i have added thr reference for the com dll"microsoft webbrowser").
            i tried "tlbimp" command also.but the result is same.can aneone please help me to solve this problem?

  • Hi Santosh,

    To answer your question, you need to pass the /keyfile switch to tlbimp so that it generates a strongly named interop assembly for you.

    However, if you've moved to Visual Studio 2005, there's now a new WebBrowser control available to you.  This means you don't have to even bother with the interop assembly anymore!
