c# SqlDependency on a mirro db RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I wanted to add SqlDependencyEx to my project.

    when I tried

ALTER DATABASE MYDBSET ENABLE_BROKER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE

    I got error

Cannot create a new Service Broker in a mirrored database "MYDB".

I checked and the only way is to remove the mirror and return it.

is there any other way i can do to check changes in a table?

Yes, but that would have to be by means of polling for changes, rather than waiting for a signal when a change occurs.

Change Tracking is a good feature if you want to poll for changes.

  • Hi want 2 Learn,

    Thank you for posting here.

Since this thread is related to SQL, I will move it to SQL forum to get support.

The Visual C# forum discusses and asks questions about the C# programming language, IDE, libraries, samples, and tools.

    Best Regards,
