(Purchased) Visual Studio 2013 License Expired

I purchased Visual Studio 2013 Professional months back, which came in a CD. I installed it without a problem, and it's been working fine until today. When I tried to start it, it said that this license has expired. Then, it would not allow me to do anything but exit the application.

That is strange. I bought it directly from Microsoft website.

Never mind, I registered using the product key that came from the CD package and now it is working. Apparently I forgot to do that after I installed it.
