What are the tools that support Angular JS apps for Load Testing RRS feed

  • Question

  • We generally use Visual Studio Web Performance Test Template for load testing web application.

But when recording Angular apps, we observed that actions performed on UI are not getting record. Only API calls are getting  recorded.

Would like to know if there is a plug in VS to do the same?

Selenium can be used to record the scenario (a web test). But during Load Test , it will launch the browser each time based on the number of load specified. Ex: UserLoad : 50 , then we see that 50 browser instance will be opened, which is not recommended.

Looking for other tools, which can be used for Load Testing Angular Apps with Oauth2 authentication.

Can anyone share inputs on same?

  • Hi,

We often use the web test recorder and Fiddler tools, but if they all have a limitation for this specific app.

    Like Dmitri T's suggestion here:

Maybe you could test it with Jmeter.
