Windows application( APPCRASH when IE9 is installed in the computer


  • hi m a newbee...i developed a windows application based on google programming language is C#(c-sharp)...

    i have many 2 Webbrowser controls in my form,which uses the IE version installed in the app. is working with other versions,jus not with crashes in between and sometimes at the start also....its a .net framework 4 application...and it also uses ABCPDF.NET 7.042(professional)...

    Please help...

  • The WebBrowser control is linked to IE on the user's computer.  There were some pretty big changes in IE9 that affected the way certain aspects of the WebBrowser worked.  Unfortunately, it may take quite a bit of work to figure out work-arounds for your problems.  However, you probably need to isolate which methods are the culprits.  Do the crashes occur when you load certain types of documents?

  • hi...christy..thanx for replying...

    my application gets crashed when i convert html to pdf..the html is first displayed in the webbrowser control...and then on a button click it is converted to pdf(using abcPDF 7)...

    it works fine in pc's where IE8 is installed..but not with IE9..
