Hi,
i have created a site few months ago, and everything was working fine till this Monday.
suddenly, i am not able to login to the site i created and i am the site collection administrator.
What are the possibilities that a user can be a site collection admin and not able to access the site?
We observed that there was no change from past 1 week other than a windows update. last weekend some windows updates ran, is that causing a problem? this was happend to out WSS installed server as well, something went wrong with updates.... Now we are not able to run WSS as well,
please help me out.
thanks
-Praveen.

Praveen,
Can you access the site remotely (i.e not from the server) ? If you can access the site remotely, then it is related to one of the windows update which went out recently. This can be fixed by making the following registry change:- Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
- In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
- Right-click Lsa, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type DisableLoopbackCheck, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click DisableLoopbackCheck, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
- Quit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer.
Thanks,

we will check and let you know the result.
