Not able to install SSMS 18.1, Set is stuck showing "Loading Packages. Please wait"

Question

I am not able to install the Microsoft SQL server management Studio version 18.1 on my machine having Windows 10 pro.

Kindly help in this regard.

Issue resolved on my system.

I followed below steps and then it got installed.

1) Removed "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18" folder
2) Deleted registry key "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio"

3) Installed SSMS

2) click repair.
