Rendering problem with GDI+ RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I’m using GDI for an application that displays a bitmap in a MFC view (CAD like application) for a while and it work fine. Now I try to use GDI+ to render some object with transparency but I’m having those problems.

1-      When the application renders the drawing for the print preview, everything is fine. But when I actually print the drawing, the objects rendered with GDI+ are too big (approx. 6 times). I’m using a setting of 96 dpi for my screen and the printer has a 600 dpi resolution. Is it the cause of my problem? I don<t have this problem with GDI. Must I include something in my code to compensate?

2-      When I try to draw objects using points with coordinates greater than 500 000, the rendering is incorrect. If anyone knows is there an upper limit for the coordinates ?
