Serial to TCP - Client and server RRS feed

  • Hi 

    Can anybody point me in the right direction to program serial port to be shared with another PC.

    server has a serial port plugged in and can be shared with a client pc.

  • You can start from a simple program that opens a listening TCP socket on the server side, accepts client's connection (from the another PC) then opens the serial port and sends the data forth and back. Google for examples.

    Of course you need to allow the incoming connection thru any firewall you have.
