can I uninstall the J# options I see in Control Panel, Programs and features?

I see a Microsoft Visual J# 2.0 Redistribution Package in my Control Panel, Programs and Features.  I don't like anything on my box that I'm not using.  Can I turf this?

And why is it in there?  I installed C# and that's all.

  • Hi Flip,

The Visual J# Redistributable Package includes things you need to run your Visual J# applications on a computer that already has the Microsoft .NET Framework installed.

So it is not mandatory for a C# developer to keep, if you want it back, it's downloads available there: (Visual J# Redistributable Packages)
