Hi, 

i would like to ask what is the correct sampling rate that should be reported in the manfest's audio fragments when AAC+ encoding (HE-AAC v1 v2 etc.) is used. In general these files can be reproduced at different sampling rates depending on what extensions a player supports. Specifically, the base AAC-LC (higher) frequency or the AAC+ (lower) frequency should be used?

Hello,

According to my experience, the waveform sample frequency 48000 or 41000 is recommended for audio stream, please refer to this document :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/media-services/previous/media-services-specifications-ms-sstr-amendment-hevc

About the sampling rate in different encoding, I suggest you can check the wiki page :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Audio_Coding 

Meanwhile, if you want to deploy your video or audio, you could use  Microsoft Expression Encoder to set output format.
