Exported event log from App Center cannot display in application insights RRS feed

  • Hello guys!

    Right now I'm facing one issue which is related to the Application Insights event log. I Connected my App Center with Application Insights to Appcenter.

    Then the Application Insights auto-generated one project for this application. But for some reason, I couldn't see any of my custom events in the event section.

    Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

  • Assuming everything in the mobile app is working correctly, there are 2 things that I would check:

    1. Did custom events get set up correctly?
    2. Was App Center configured correctly?


    Hopefully that will get you back on track.

  • Hello and sorry for the late reply.

    I tried to follow up on the tutorial about how to enable the connection between App Center and App Insights. Here are all the steps which I have done:

    1. I add a valid Azure subscription to my App Center account.

    2. Then I assign both my projects with the Azure subscription.

    3. I go to both my Android and IOS project settings and create Application Insights export. Then I enabled both projects.

    4. Then I go to the Azure Portal and I notice the Application Insights have already created two projects.

    5. Then I tested to check the events and I realized some events are missing when I compare these custom events in App Center.

    As you see, Here are all the information I have in the latest 7 days(Android project)

     Here is what I can see in Application Insights:

    As you see, I cannot see any of my custom events in my Android Application Insights project and I have no idea why.

    In IOS I can see some of the events, but there are still some events missing:


    For example, one of the custom event "StartSwishApp" have a total counter 9, but After export to Application Insights, the total counter has decreased to 3. The filter in both platforms has been set as "In the latest 7days".

    If there is anything which I missing, please let me know.
