  • Hi,

Does it have this issue if you debug a simple app? For example, the C# console app. If just the specific app has this issue, I’m afraid that it is not the VS IDE issue.

If you get any error message, please share it to us.

Please restart your pc, and reopen your VS in safe mode.

If possible, run VS devenv /log to find more useful message.

To make sure whether it is related to your Environment, please close other processes in your local machine, like the firewall or others. Or you could try to debug it with other machine.

If still no help, I’m afraid that you would check a crash dump.

Maybe we could find more useful information.

  • I disabled both firewall and anti virus and tried but no use.

I tried to run vs in safe mode but got this dialog.

  • Hi isasmani,

    Glad to receive your reply.

There is a missing project subtype:

Subtype: '{BC8A1FFA-BEE3-4634-8014-F334798102B3}' is unsupported by this installation.

Based on the error message, I’m afraid that you would check whether your VS version supports the Windows Store app.
