We would like to take advantage of the introductory offer for upgrading to VS 2013 professional. Our problem is that we have bought copies of visual studio in the past and also been part of developer programs that licenced us copies of visual studio.
Is there a facility where we can run our licences through an online checker that can tell us if we qualify? If you don't have such a facility is there a way of checking?
Alternatively if we buy the upgrade and install it (I am assuming it checks to make sure we have a product qualifying for an upgrade) and we don't have the correct licence can we get a refund?
Since the question is about a license issue, please call
1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist, and you can get more detail information from there. You can also visit the following site for more information and
support on licensing issues: http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/mplahome.mspx.
