  • Hi friend,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

According to this doc, Visual Studio 2019 will be the final version of Visual Studio with Coded UI test features. And we can still use CUIT in vs2019 though someday it’s no longer the latest version.

And as what mentioned in the doc, we recommend you use Selenium for web-app tests and Win-Appdriver for desktop app tests.

We can still choose to use CUIT in vs2019, and the guidance is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/test/walkthrough-creating-editing-and-maintaining-a-coded-ui-test?view=vs-2017

Also, if we want to use Selenium or Win-Appdriver, we can find more info and support from their website.

And if there has any further question when running tests in vs, please feel free to share it here.

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards.

    Lance.

  • Hi Lance

Thanks for your reply.  It's a little reassuring that we do have a little more time to use Coded UI, although still very disappointing that Microsoft have taken this decision stop its continued use.

    Regards

    Jamie
