Testing after TFS 2013 -> 2017 migration

    Question

  • We will be migrating (and upgrading) our TFS 2013 install (TFS, Sql, SharePoint) to a new TFS 2017 box. Is there a URL\list describing items we should make sure to test after the move? (Check-in\check-out, Reports, come to mind.)

    TIA,

  • Hi edm2,

    Thank you for posting here.

    As I known, there is no such document about testing after upgrade. You could test the feature based all your requirement and environments:

    1. Source Control: You could check the project in source control and do some check-in, check out.

    2. Web access: Check the work item/Build/ Release and other features.

    3. Report: Check if you could open then report and works well.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best Regards
