  • Well, the error code is ambiguous. For the Windows system error codes 0x0B is ERROR_BAD_FORMAT. For the CRT error numbers this is EAGAIN. For a better answer please give the context in which you are getting this error code.

    ASCII and Unicode are character encodings. Although when we say ASCII we tend to mean one of the extended ASCII code pages.


    This is a signature. Any samples given are not meant to have error checking or show best practices. They are meant to just illustrate a point. I may also give inefficient code or introduce some problems to discourage copy/paste coding. This is because the major point of my posts is to aid in the learning process.
