Any plan to release strong named "System.Windows.Controls.DataVisualization.dll" version RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have been using System.Windows.Controls.DataVisualizationToolkit.dll ver 3.5.50211.1 on wards for drawing line graph(Chart control) in our WPF desktop application. Till now, it works without any issues.

Now, we would like to upgrade this dll to ver as it is latest version available. But, after download, found that this dll was not strong named and because of this, we unable to load this dll in our application.

Is there a plan to upload "System.Windows.Controls.DataVisualization.Toolkit.dll" ver with strong name?

Is there any replacement dll for this available?

    Please revert at the earliest.

  • Hi,

Do you want to add a strong name to a dll without source code?

    1.    create a key     sn.exe -k key.snk
    2.     get assembly MSIL    ILDASM.exe SomeLibrary.dll /OUTPUT=SomeLibrary.il
    3.     Reassemble as dll      ILASM.exe SomeLibrary.il /DLL /OUTPUT=SomeLibrary.dll /KEY=key.snk

    Best Regards,
