Maximise problem with olecontrol after changing the application to Visual Studio 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I am using OLE(OCX) control which in turn displays a image by embedding on view. It is working fine with Visual 2005. Recently I upgraded my application to Visual 2008 and changed WinApp class to CWinAppEx, CFrameWnd to CFrameWndEx for newer look of exe.

    Now the problem is Whenever I open Image the COleClientItem::OnActiveUI activates old CFrameWnd style and when I click on maximise button the image, scrollbar and toolbar is not getting maximised. Why this problem is happening when I click on maximise button.

    I am not aware on ActiveX control usage. Please suggest me in solving this bug.

    void COcxItem::OnActivateUI()
    {
    SHOWENTRY2(_T("OnActivateUI"), m_szItem);
     COleClientItem::OnActivateUI();
    }

  • Not a C++ language question. Ask in a MFC forum/newsgroup like the Visual C++ General forum.
