Can I get cpu / memory and other counters of my webrole in the azure appinsights dashboard?

Question

hi,
I am a bit confused. I have configured app insights for my azure webroles. The telemetry gets in fine. However I expected that I could get system performance counters into the dashboard as well. Some documents mention this possibility. Is that not (yet) part of the current azure app insights preview? Thanks for your time!

Hello Bart,
If I'm not mistaken, this feature might appear in one of the upcoming updates to Application Insights nugets and AI will collect counters from your app.
Please stay tuned.

After spending quite some time on the different forums and blog posts I found this: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/visualstudioalm/archive/2014/04/16/new-agent-for-application-insights-available.aspx
Do I still need to do this? Is this still applicable on the new Azure AppInsights version?

Hi Bart,
What version are you running? I just did an update-package and I'm running v0.12.0.17386. I don't see any performance counters. I'm using an Azure Website (on a shared plan) so maybe that is it?
