=IF(ISBLANK(L7),"",DATE(J7,K7,L7)+1) If L7 is blank display blank, "", otherwise calculate a date based on the values in J7, L7 and K7 and then add one.

### ISBLANK and workflows

In order to get around this and after a LOT of fiddling around I was able to bypass this issue by tweaking the ISBLANK formula to return a value of 0 for No and 1 for yes.
