  • Hi Sara,

Connect will take some time you might as well need to submit complete logs. Can you find related logs at location

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Setup Bootstrap\Log

Are you sure SQL Server 2014 setup is not corrupt one. Did you copied the installable on Local drive and then right click on setup file and selected run as administrator.

Edit: Have you read hardware and Software requirements for SQL Server 2014

  • I did not run as administrator, did not remember about it.

But I found a better solution for that I want to do:

  • Sara at same location there must be some other Log files located can you post all files. I mean whatever log files related to SS2014 installation is present can you upload it on Skydrive for analysis. I strongly recommend you opening case with Microsoft for this issue.

  • System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.set_FirstDisplayedScrollingRowIndex

causing "No room is available to display rows"

Never seen this error earlier. I would suggest to validate .net to see if it's working fine.

  • I need to test it with that tool, but not have the PC where I tried install the SQL Server.

And I did not find a way to submit it in connect....I saved the logs.
