Java service bus performance on JBOSS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I have a java web app hosted on a jboss 6.3 that use a service bus to send sms.

    I have this code to build connection and send message

    QueueClient  queueClient = new QueueClient(new ConnectionStringBuilder(connectionString, queueName), ReceiveMode.RECEIVEANDDELETE);

          Message message = new Message(_m);

          Duration tenMinutes = Duration.ofMinutes(60);

    In dev environment all run correcly and  perfomance is ok also if I repeat procedure, in test environment with JBOSS on linux machine the performance of create connection and close decrease continous.

    Any ideas? QueueClient   is disposable class

    Thanks in advance

  • I would suggest not to create a queue client for each message send operation and check if that helps.

    If you still face the performance issue I would suggest you raise the Support Ticket as it requires more investigation.
