I'm trying to import a 2010 Excel file with 5 sheets of approx 100k rows of data. There are lots of live formulas in each of the sheets (mostly vlookups).
I have tried to import this sheet into a new 2010 Excel file using PowerPivot. It seems to import correctly, and the pop-up tells me that it has been uploaded successfully. However, in each tab there are quite a few cells that have been left blank, when
the original cells definitely have a value in them. The only connection I can see is that the missing cells all seem to have a formula in the original Excel file.
Is there any reason why some cells (with formulas) import successfully while others don't? Am I doing something wrong?
