  • Hi Harish,

    Remote is a broad term.

Are you able to access it programmatically without SSIS?

It would help more if you could post how to reproduce the issue.

  • Hi Harish Kumar,

Please make sure you have the permission to access remote server.

Please share more error messages about your package.

The following link will be helpful:

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Arthur,

I have a deployed SSIS packages to SERVER1 and I have batch files(with DTEXEC commands) in SERVER2.

Success case - Manual execution of packages using SSMS within SERVER1(SSIS) connects to SharePoint and downloads a file.

Failure case - Created a batch file in SERVER2 to execute package using DTEXEC command which is able to run the package but fails to authenticate to SharePoint and download a file.

    Error - 401 Unauthorized

    Hope it helps!

    ~Harish

  • Hi Harish,

Use a proxy to run the package when scheduled. Mind, this proxy needs to be able to connect to SharePoint.
