  • The error message clearly states that your msdb database is marked suspect, if you have a last good backup for msdb restore the database on top of the existing msdb database. Check and read your errorlog why was the database marked suspect.

  • Hi,

Based on this error message, the msdb database was marked suspect, and regarding to this situation, there are only two options for choose: restore it from a backup just as Lekss mentioned or recreate the msdb database. However, please make sure that you have full permissions on the folder mentioned from the following link.

Please see  http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlserverstorageengine/archive/2006/06/06/619304.aspx about how to recreate the msdb database for SQL Server 2005 from Paul Randal.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

    Thanks,

    Weilin Qiao
