  • Try the following:

    • Create a blank new database.
    • Activate the External Data tab of the ribbon.
    • In the Import & Link group, click Access.
    • Click Browse...
    • Navigate to the problem database, select it and click Open.
    • Click OK.
    • Click Select All in each of the tabs.
    • Click Options >>.
    • If you want to import custom menus and toolbars etc., tick the appropriate check boxes.
    • Click OK.
    • Use the new database, and keep the old one for now as a backup.
