  • Also worth mentioning here that in case of deadlock The Database Engine chooses one of the sessions as a deadlock victim and the current transaction is terminated with an error to break the deadlock.

  • when a processes is completed, then it is killed by sql server

  • When You Close Connection or Connection Reset caused by network. In those cases, SQL Does  Close the Connection

  • This is SQL 2005 SP4, there is no specific error in the error log.

    developer say the program build a session to SQL server in 3:00am , however it won't do any query. after some time,

    the program want to use the same session to run a query and that session is disappeared already.
