  • Hello,

To edit SSIS packages you need the SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools) plugin for Visual Studio, but for old VS 2010 it isn't any longer available.

You have to install a new SSDT version with VS Integrated Shell, which you can download here: Download and install SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) for Visual Studio

  • Hi _Vanderdecken,

What version of SSIS project are you using?

If you are using SSIS 2005/2008, please try using BIDS to open your project.

If you are using SSIS 2012 +, please install SSDT then open your project.
